Our Venue
EuroSLA 35 will take place at NOVA University Lisbon — Campolide Campus, located just above Parque Eduardo VII in central Lisbon.
The campus is easily accessible by Metro (São Sebastião station), bus, or on foot from hotels in the city centre. A car park is also available for delegates.
Main Venue: Colégio Almada Negreiros (CAN)

Most conference sessions will be held in Colégio Almada Negreiros (CAN). The building offers modern facilities, including an on-site cafeteria for snacks and light meals, as well as a cantina serving affordable hot meals.
A venue map and video guide will be made available to help participants navigate the campus.
Additional Spaces: Rectory Building

The keynote lectures, poster sessions, and receptions will take place in the Rectory building, located just a 2-minute walk from CAN.
- Auditorium A seats 371 participants, with capacity expandable to over 500 by joining adjacent spaces.
- The atrium (490 m²) will host poster sessions and social events.
Travel
Lisbon is one of Europe’s most accessible capital cities, offering excellent connections by air, rail, road, and sea.
By air
Lisbon Airport (LIS), officially known as Humberto Delgado Airport, is located just 7 km from the city centre. It is served by a wide range of international and low-cost airlines, providing direct flights to and from major European cities and global destinations.
The city centre can be reached from the airport in approximately 20 minutes via the Metro Red Line, with a one-way ticket costing less than €2. Taxis, ride-sharing services, airport shuttles, and car rentals are also readily available.
By train
Lisbon is well connected to other Portuguese cities and Spain by a modern rail network. Gare do Oriente is the main station for long-distance trains, offering high-speed services to Porto, Coimbra, and the Algarve, as well as international routes.
By road
The city is linked to the rest of Portugal and Spain through an extensive motorway network. Long-distance buses provide affordable and frequent services to and from Lisbon.
Getting around Lisbon
Lisbon has a comprehensive public transport system, including Metro, buses, trams, and funiculars, making it easy to navigate the city. The Viva Viagem card offers convenient and economical access to all forms of public transport.
